The other night I was watching Nuts Entertainment on GMA PinoyTV and Senator Francis Joseph “Chiz” Escudero was the guest in the Balakubak segment. One question was whether he’d consider running in the presidential election in 2010. As usual, Chiz gave an intelligent answer whereas he said that he’s only thirty-nine years old so he won’t comment on such, but he hinted that he would be forty by the election day. Unlike the United States which requires a 35-year-old limit, the Philippines requires that its President is at least forty. Escudero has been considered to be one of the candidates in 2010, and so thoughts amassed. (more…)

Kalam is a public service documentary by a Philippine television network GMA. The episode discussed the rice shortage facing the world and especially the Philippines. The show was very thorough in discussing the causes and possible outcome of the crisis facing the world today. I will discuss and give my two cents on some of the issues. (more…)
Dyesebel Mermaids

I saw the episode of All Star K! last night featuring the mermaids of GMA’s latest series Dyesebel. They were a nice looking bunch save Vaness and Sheena. Who caught my attention? It wasn’t Kilantang or Jaya. They were Rea Nakpil, Ava Jugueta, Sachi Sanders and Precious Adona. The latter two I need more information, so fill me in anyone. I enjoyed the voices of Ava, Rea and Sachi. I don’t care if they can act…they caught my attention damnit! (more…)
