As I was checking blogs off my blogroll, I noticed that my ads are McCain oriented. Data mining capability of Google is really amazing. I don’t have to say which party I tend to lean, yet it knows. I’m not a registered voter and I don’t think I’ll be, but I’m openly a Republican. I guess it’s in my nature to go against the grain because I live in an urban area and urbanites tend to be democrats.
Especially in this year’s election. I think that the democratic party is a joke. They should have found someone more effective because McCain is a tough contender. I think if they had Kerry run again, they may have a chance. I won’t make any prediction save one. Hollywood will vote Obama because the vocal these celebrities about supporting Obama, they think that the masses will watch their movies. If you have Pamela Anderson screaming she’s voting Obama, I think you have to think who to vote again. It may be better to vote for Perot if he runs again.
Before you comment on my opinion, it is solely mine and I did not do any research on each candidate’s platform or issues. These are solely my hunch based on the years I’ve “kind of” observe these men.

I confess that each of my entry has grammatical errors and most of them are fragments. I can’t fix them because I’m too lazy to be technical and I’m very bad with fragments.
However, that does not stop me from criticizing other people. It really annoys me that people are writing just for the sake of writing in English. They don’t concern themselves of the correctness. I know a cocky bastard has said that every time he posts an entry, he has two or three people read his draft first. You don’t have to go that far, but at least be aware of the basic — spelling, tenses, and plurality. TV and music can be dangerous on the latter because Ebonics does not follow correct plurality.
If you are blogging, if you can’t properly use the basic grammar, then I suggest you write in your natural language or proofread before you publish. I’m easily disturbed when I’m reading a piece with incorrect grammar. I feel like editing everything before reading it again.

I couldn’t deliver a promise to myself that I would write each day of the weekdays. I was too busy at work that I lost so many blogging hours. I am writing this entry aboard a Continental Airline flight. So what thoughts have accumulated this past week?
Firstly, my attempt to move my router failed. I’ll figure it out when I return.
The first Gala Night of Pinoy Idol was held this weekend and I was fortunate to watch the performances. The show has put a limit on the number of text votes per SIM; the maximum is 200 text votes per SIM. My guess was correct because I guessed an average of 100 per SIM.
Eat Bulaga’s first E-Banda Eskuwelahan came into existence this weekend also. Out of four bands, I enjoyed two. It was a good contest.
At work, I ordered tons of computers. I realized that I’m too slow setting them up. When I say setup, it means uninstalling pre-installed software and installing my own software. One PC per hour is quite slow. Alongside that, I was also multi-tasking — programming and other operational work. Joking around has to be there also to take away all the pressure.

Okay I have been wondering about these in the past few weeks (or months maybe):
- How come new bloggers still use Blogspot.com over Wordpress.com?
- Why is there a need to create multiple blogsites? (most of the time are not updated)
Results of my ponders:
- I still have no idea, but I strongly suggest new bloggers to use wordpress.com… Much nicer… and with class.
- (a) In order to increase PageRank. (Get your friends to hyperlink you, damnit!)
(b) Increase income. (Annoying and you are a disgrace to blogworld.)
(c) People, what’s the use of CATEGORIES if you’ll be making a different site for each category you can think of?
Confessions & Defense:
I have four (4) domains, two of which are publicly active. One is private. One is under construction for more than a year. I also have one (1) Tumblr site. This domain of course is personal web site (contains blogs). The other domain is for my town (a web site) so it makes sense that I have to separate that. Not so much traffic in that either because only the “townspeople” can understand that site. The internet radio which I may shutdown later on is for my own amusement - and select others. I can’t put that in here because it’s static based - old skool! The under construction site is not worth talking about. My Tumblr site is more like a dumpsite of media bookmarks. Media streams that I don’t want to mess this site’s layout. Visit that site ’cause it has fun stuff.
Any thoughts?

If something strikes a nerve in my head I usually blog or linger a thought about it. However, due to some uncontrolled circumstances, I lost my inspiration over the weekend. So here I am again, trying to remember the moment which confirmed and disappointed my way of living. I may have seen a movie that could push “Mallrats” or “Good Will Hunting” down a notch. I’ve only seen “Into The Wild” once, so I don’t know the effect if I watch it over and over again.
“Into The Wild” confirmed my ideals and that it had been lived once. It’s a story of a man (Christopher Johnson McCandless played by Emile Hirsh) who detached himself from society because he hated it so much. He embraced the peaceful and adventurous Nature. He disregarded the material things because he believed it caused. It’s really a very powerful equation because I never thought of it that way. I’ve always thought of it’s result specifically. I’ve always deduced it to suffering. To say that it causes struck a domain with a wider range. Wealth and power causes suffering. His definition precedes mine. It’s a discovery of greater value for me. Wealth and power causes ______. Anything could be filled in the blank and that’s what I meant by a wider range.
I’d really would like to write more about MCandless’ thoughts but I won’t. I would go straight to the disappointment he brought me before he died. His last testament was the confession that “happiness only real when shared.” This is where I still define myself from him. Happiness, as I always believe, is for oneself. Having it shared with someone else does not make happiness eternal. A man’s journey should lead him to eternal bliss and all of us shall perish not achieving it. We are all slaves of love and care. We submit to love. I witness that because I for one have been forced into submission by the feeling of imperceptible care for someone. The selfless and voluntary devotion to someone. The reality of happiness is unattainable because we are not completely detached from society. From the movie, he made friends with others which brought his own demise. He lingered the thought of going back to society to share his experience with others. He was not always true to himself because he always hinted the return to society. His transformation wasn’t complete.
I am fully aware that I cannot come close to what McCandless have gone to, but I strongly believe that my realization is enough for me to live that life inside my head. I shall die not a hypocrite for I am living the things I believe inside me. My shell matters to me not.

I’m pretty sure not everyone using Wordpress knows the software’s origin. Well, if you are curious, I’ll let you know. Wordpress was a distribution of a b2. If you are doing your own editing of the Wordpress sotware, the familiarity of b2 will be there.
I thought of posting an entry on this because I was wondering if the b2 site that I used to constantly visit for updates during the infancy of blogging is still there (in its URL address). I’m glad it is still there…untouched.
Kudos to Michel!

Does MTV deserves a spot in my blog? Well, I guess it does. Every year, the time I spend watching the VMAs shortens. I confess, I haven’t seen all the VMAs, but this year’s show must have been the worst of all. It is hosted by Chris Rock, to start with. No one can host a terrible party, but the corniest comedian in the planet. Secondly, is the VMA becoming a flea market or what? Even Iggy Pop is now selling his upcoming album. VMA is place where losers from The Grammys win, meaning, good music is no longer acknowledged. I thinked I’ve watched more presentations tonight than actually hearing music in the show because everytime they announce the winner I’m already in another channel watching Steven Seagal kicks ass. The only musicians in the show are the members of Coldplay who really represented the few (the talented).
Did VMA ruin my day? Hell no! My cousin emailed me tonight asking my thoughts on a musician that I’ve never heard of before called Viena Teng. After listening to a few samples off her album, I was immediately hooked. I’m off to Borders tomorrow to buy the album. She has a beautiful voices and her music is really moving. It’s orchestral, yet it rocks!
