It’s been a while since I’ve stayed longer in the Philippines. It’s been a while since I felt this lazy summer breeze. I’m not adjusting. I’m secluded, still. I’m in a place where I should be. The thought of returning to the place where I don’t belong lingers and it’s what bores me. If I could, I would retire now. No, not here, but to the place where I was born and spent half of my life.
Never to come back to New York is fine with me. Should I act on it?

So you thought that I only followed Michael Phelps. Uhm, not true! I followed the whole swimming meet. I’ve rooted for the Americans the whole time. In women’s I’ve rooted for Natalie Couglin who had medals in all of her six events including a gold in 100m Backstroke. I really liked her. However, I like Stephanie Rice of Australia more because she’s so cute and pretty. I never rooted for her though.

An overdue post: My favorite EB Babes… I like Belle a lot. I also like Saida because she’s so cute. Angel is OK because she’s kind of cute, but her height doesn’t fit her. Right now, I always look at Siada everytime they appear on TV. She’s really pretty and always smiles. Another one I like is Madel. I didn’t use to like her, but now she’s coming off pretty for me. And she’s figuratively sexy: long sng slender.

I had a short term absence online, if anyone noticed. I did it intentionally because nothing was coming out of my head, except the back entries that I will be posting tonight. They were posted offline in my i-touch-nothing-happens. I installed an offline WP there so that I can write directly through there and I don’t have to re-format my entries when I’m publishing online. Before my word processing software was formatting the entries when I copy & paste. (more…)

Enabling mod_rewrite for Apache2 in Ubuntu is very easy. All you need is run the a2enmod (apache2enablemodule) command. This command can be used for enabling any module for Apache.
sudo a2enmod rewrite
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 force-reload

I was watching “High Fidelity” and I thought about confessing something. The reason why I started collecting CDs is because I wanted to have a soundtrack of my life. As of this moment, I have not picked one, not even a track. There is no way I can choose the tracks that will narrate the moments in my life with my ongoing collection. Rob Gordon (John Cusack) had about tenfolds more records than I do and I’m very particular with the genre I listen to. I have no variety, thus my choices are thin. I’m full of rage inside, yet I can’t listen to a raging music. I listen to the Manics because I love the melodies they make and I love the revolution they make, but I hate the message. I enjoy the act, not the substance. I listen to Travis because they look cool, like some songs, but mostly hate the style because it’s too gloomy for me. I listen to Stereophonics because the music rocks, but I can’t relate to the words because they are all stories. I listen to Oasis because they’re just fooking badass. I listen to the Cranberries because I love the music, but I can’t relate. I listen to the Corrs because they influenced me in so many things especially the love for music. I listen to hundreds of bands and artists in the alternative scene, but I never listened to a record that describes me.
