Choice

The complexity of living is caused by none other than choice. The simpleton in me loathes the most profound trait of a human being which is free will. At the same time, free will is a requirement in the ideals that I strive for.
Having to choose amongst things is very troublesome. Many preferences must be considered and distinction is usually not profound, hence leaning towards one or the other is inevitable. The complexity, that is to have a monochromatic possibilities for an act, leads to a complex and messy situation. I don’t like messy situations.
On the other hand, all beliefs that I learned and live by have free will as the requisite. I can do anything I want without a care for others — that is free will; my choice. A life without free will is impossible even if a dictator exists. Let us say that a dictator exists and that dictator is outside the realm of living. (Aha! I’m injecting the concept of an Almighty.) The decisions that the dictator made would still pave the way for the actions of the human. Though indirectly, the choice is still there.
So what have I deduced from this mumbo jumbo? Choice can be avoided if and only if one is still; only in death.

That’s an easy choice. Everything I want is good because I value what I want. Anything I value is good regardless of how others value them to be. Therefore, with reference to me, what I want is good.
The hard thing is what if I want more than one, but a condition of possessing only one exists.
shocks.. parang napag-iisip ulit ako… _”desisyon”_ napakahirap! kung alam mo nga nmn ang tlgang gusto mo.. un na un.. kaso kung may gumugulo.. un ang mahirap T_T.. (uuuyy.. may laman???) hahaha!!!!

To answer the second question, all comments here are moderated :)
The first is a good question. All good things are not necessarily right. I’ve just said that your question was good, but I did not say if it is right (it’s not that it is wrong). Both adjectives are incomparable at times and at parallel most of the time. I’ve posted once here before about righteousness . The best thing I can differentiate both adjectives may be through the consequences it may cause. Right/wrong has greater reward value than good/bad.

I do value sentiments to a certain level, but not all the time. I just love simplifying things. The world looks simpler that way. I can’t be sentimental if my mission in life is to be completely detached to society.
