I’ve been following the Wordpress 2.6 pre-release builds and when I woke this morning, the admin panel was urging me to upgrade. I didn’t have time to do it this morning, but I checked out the video that the people from Automattic made. I didn’t notice any changes that could affect the site, so I upgraded my two sites a few minutes ago. I find that there are outstanding upgrades in the admin panel especially the plugins section. It makes sense to separate the active and inactive plugins because sometimes I’m confused if I’m upgrading (I also like a flag telling me I have a number of plugin updates) an active plugin. Selective activation/deactivation is also an awesome addition. There is revision trail, so that’s exciting. Wordpress is becoming a more sophisticated word processing software it seems.
Anyway, for those who are afraid to upgrade, I’m telling you it’s safe. You gotta love the word count also. Another awesome feature.

Pano niyo po nagagawa yung albums ng nextgen na hinidi nagbibreak ng line? Yung magkakatabi ang thumbs katulad sa photos page niyo?
Flckr style?
[album=albumID, compact]
Same naman nilagay ko. Nagiging hitsura kasi sa akin –
album
album
Gusto ko sana kapareho sa page mo na -
album album album
Bayaan mo na po. I’ll figure it out. Thanks :)
Ahh ok… You guessed wrong of how I did mine :)
A single line is one album containing several galleries. I actually have:
Album [gallery1, gallery2, gallery3]
Album [gallery4, gallery5, gallery6]
…
Album [gallery(n-2), gallery(n-1), gallery(n)]
Haha ginawang matrix
Ah ang galing talaga! Thanks :)
Ay mali pakaintindi ko hehehe. I’ll just use the “extend” version.
Ah tama pala para organized. Sorry ang kulit ko ha. lol
Try this for experimentation para ma kuha mo:
1. Create a new album with ID= albumID
2. Drag and drop all available galleries into that album.
3. Create a page and put in: [album=albumID,compact]
im lost. hehe. default template lang kasi ako. pagdating sa mga ganito wala na akong maidudugtong. patawad. wala akong alam sa webdesign..web design nga ba ang pinag-uusapan nyo? hehe
Not entirely a design issue, rather a feature usage. :D
Bummer, because of this upgrade, I lost the random quotes above. The plugin has issues :(
hehe. I almost erased all the contents of my blog when I got some errors after the upgrade. Buti nalang nakita ko agad ang problema. Justind Tadlock of justintadlock.com has some nifty image and video plugins na cya ang may gawa, I’ve read the features and parang mas ok cya kesa sa ibang plugins. Got to check it out.
