According to this, Acer is planning to launch an affordable UMPC joining the likes of ASUS & Everex. Acer is planning to release 8-inch and 9-inch displays. It will most likely cost the same as the Eee PC and CloudBook to remain competitive. It will all depend on specs. This is getting fun!

I just finished watching this film and although it is utterly stupid, it’s awesome. The film obviously does not have a decent plot, but they managed to create a fun and engaging semi-musical motion picture. I love the soundtrack because they are all songs circa ochenta. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the 80s music and does not mind stupidity and not in the mood to be critical of the movie.

I’ve been waiting for the release of this gadget even though I’m not buying one. I check Walmart.com daily, but they never posted there. Finally, I found another retailer and that’s ZaReason, Inc. Anyone interested to get one should checkout the site before CloudBooks are sold out.
Edition: CloudBook is delayed for another month.

I’m a huge fan of Sandro Boticelli’s Venus, so I’d buy this if it wins. I like the shirt color and the graphics is excellently done. The concept is really cool. ‘Nuff said.

We celebrated my father’s birthday tonight at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Staten Island. I ordered the veal marsala with mashed potatoes. The marsala flavor is different from what I’m used to. I don’t like this kind. However, I enjoyed the appetizers. We had the antipasti platter and I was already full after that which may have caused losing my appetite for the marsala dish. I guess if you enjoy Italian dish, it’s a good place to check out.

Everex has unveiled an Eee PC competitor with its CloudBook. Scheduled to be available at Walmart.com only starting January 25, 2008 at an affordable $399. This is the same price as my Eee PC 4G, except that it has better specifications. The CloudBook also weighs 2lbs with a 9-inch screen and has 9 times more of gigabyte storage space than my 4G. It is pre-installed with gOS which I think rocks.
I’m a little disappointed that I just bought an Eee PC and a new interesting machine cos out. I’ll have to wait for reviews, maybe for the next generation of CloudBook before I decide to get my hands on it.

9 Inches, 2 pounds, 5 hours of battery life. Surf, email, blog, IM, Skype, compute. Cloud computing makes it simple and easy for everyone.
Based on the latest gOS Rocket operating system, the ultra-mobile Everex PC comes with popular applications from Google, Mozilla, Skype, OpenOffice.org and more.
Find your $399 CloudBook at Walmart.com beginning 1/25/08

Ako’y nag-iisa
At walang kasama
Di ko makita
Ang ating pag-asa
Ang himig natin
Ang inyong awitin
Upang tayo’y magsama-sama
Sa langit ng pag-asa
Ako’y may kaibigan
At s’ya’y nahihirapan
Handa na ba kayong lahat
Upang s’ya’y tulungan
Ang himig natin
Ang inyong awitin
Upang tayo’y magsama-sama
Sa langit ng pag-asa
Ang himig natin
Inyong awitin
Ang himig natin
Inyong awitin
Ang himig natin
Inyong awitin

I don’t know why I let you go
You said you’d wait I said I’d hope you would
We talked ’til late until we walked away
What’s meant to be will be the same And I feel like stone
Yes I feel ice cold
I pick myself up from the ground
Sick to death of lying down
And now I have to find you once again
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now
Driving round and round until its dawn
To look for you in rooms we used to go
I held you back, I had to set you free
But now I know what’s meant to be
And I feel like stone
Yes I feel ice cold
I pick myself up from the ground
Sick to death of lying down
And now I have to find you once again
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now
You’re in my soul
You’re in my mind
But I don’t know where you are now

Looking up the hill tonight
When you have closed your eyes
I wish I didn’t have to make all those mistakes and be wise
Please try to be patient and know that I’m still learning
I’m sorry that you have to see the strength inside me burning
Where are you my angel now
Don’t you see me crying
And I know that you can’t do it all
But you can’t say I’m not trying
I’m on my knees in front of her
But she doesn’t seem to see me
But all her troubles on her mind is looking right through me
And I’m letting myself down beside this fire in you
And I wished that you could see I have my troubles too
Lookin’ at you sleeping
I’m with a woman I know
I’m sitting here weeping while the hours pass so slow
And I know that in the mornin’ I have to let you go
And you’ll be just a woman once I leave to know
For these past few days someone I don’t recognize
This isn’t all my fault
When will you realize
Lookin’ at you leavin’
I’m looking for a sign
