Over the weekend, I finally found out the name of Fran Healy’s “Why Does It Always Rain On Me” hair. It’s a fin. Since barbers in my neighborhood are ignorant of British pop culture, I checked out web sites that can give me a fin and near my area. I stumbled upon Super Cuts and they seem cool. After school today, I drove to the nearest Super Cuts and spent about an hour looking for a parking space. When I got a parking, I rushed to the shop and waited about five minutes. When I was up, I told the barber to give me a fin and he didn’t ask me anything else, so I thought he knew what it was. After a while, he was done without a fin. I asked him where the fin is or how to get it out using a gel. He was confused. So I told him that I wanted a fin and he replied that he heard me say a fade. He said he haven’t heard of a fin, so I showed him a small picture of Fran that only shows a small fin. I explained to him what it should look like and so he adjusted it and gave me a baby fin. I think when it grows taller, it’ll be a really cool fin.

Earlier this evening, someone called looking for me. Since I dislike courtesy call, I asked who he is. He kept repeating what I’m asking for three times before he answered me. Afterwards, I answered that I’m not home. Then he asked me why I needed to ask who he was. I then answered that, as a recepient, I should know who the caller is. He responded with sheer evidence of manners and asked me if I’m a wise guy. I told him that I am, so he called me a jerkoff and hang up.
This guy is really pathetic. I have an idea of his background and he definitely is a piece o’ shit.
Speaking of courtesy calls, they recently have a way to get you. They will ask for the name Howard and when you tell them that he’s got a wrong number, he will then start his business. I loath these callers. They waste my time.

When I saw Elisha Cuthbert in Old School, I suddenly thought of adding her to the list. Though she didn’t have enough screen time, she performed magnificently, thus, capturing my eyes together with her beauty.
Elisha is the first one on my list that is of my age. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on November 30, 1982. At seven, she started modelling before she was added in the cast of Are You Afraid Of The Dark? Her career includes the hit TV series 24.

Rachel Weisz has something in her that’s very attractive. Especially in the movie About A Boy, where she blossomed so much. She is so adorable in the movie, making me think it’s a shame they didn’t give her more lines.

Andrea Jane Corr was born on May 17, 1974 in Dundalk, Ireland. She is the lead vocalist for the band called The Corrs where her three older siblings belong. Besides singing in the band, she also plays the tin whistle and the piano, though she doesn’t play the piano neither on the record nor live.
Andrea will always be the greatest woman in my eyes. She is beautiful, intelligent, talented, funny, and has the most beautiful voice in the planet.

On Wednesday night, after a little less than an hour after the Allied attack on Baghdad commenced, President Bush addressed the nation regarding the war as well as telling Iraqis to surrender.
This war is more psychological than it is physical. This time, the media are playing important roles including real time update of the ongoing war. This sounds very interesting, but I think it is outrageous. With these embeds, the strategy is leaked no matter how they try to filter information. The media shouldn’t be allowed in the front. In addition, reports given are, most of the time, conflicting, raising so much tension between sides. Even unconfirmed issues are being emphasized as if they were true. It simply is outrageous!
On the other hand, embedding reporters with the soldiers provide entertainment. A more mainstream kind of reality TV if you will. I admit that I only sleep about six hours, maximum, because I spend the rest of the time watching the news. Often, I wish I didn’t work or go to school because I wanted to see what will happen next. I’m addicted to it!
Anti-War Protests
Demonstrations around the world against war are no more than an attack on President Bush. President Bush has been criticized by democrats since he was running for office. The “fact” that he may be intellectually inferior compared to Gore is really the main reason why these people are attacking the now U.S. president. Furthermore, most of these attackers are the intellectuals — students & teachers mostly. Having said that, every move that President Bush makes is criticized without even understanding anything.
Now, this war is being branded as Bush’s War by these protesters. They simply concluded that because of the Gulf War in ‘91 under his father’s adminitration. Are these people so close minded that they didn’t see the big picture, which is disarming Hitler Jr.? They claim that President Bush should resolve this through diplomacy, but let me tell you something, diplomacy has no place in this world anymore. Also, peace is simply the result of war.

About A Boy received spectacular reviews from critics when it came out. To me, it is a very good movie overall. People I know didn’t like the movie because I think the movie doesn’t belong in any wavelength. I mean, it’s not funny, and it’s not so dramatic either. So why do I enjoy watching this movie? Well, I think that Badly Drawn Boy is a brilliant songwriter and choosing him for all the soundtracks was brilliant too. However, the thing that really pulled me to watch this movie in the first place is Rachel Weisz’s starring. She looked really fabulous in this movie, though I was disappointed when she didn’t have that much scenes.
The movie has also dramatized my being as well as the being I would like to be. This movie will always be close to my heart as it is the movie of my life. Not caring for anyone or anything is a bliss.
