Agony Of An Insomniac

Which body wound do you think hurts? For me, it must have to be gum wounds. Everytime I stay late at night, I get a sore gum. It’s not a chronic gum disease, but I guess you can call it a disease. It takes about a week for me to get rid of it and I suffer everytime. I can’t freely use my mouth, so it gives bad breath eventhough I hardly eat because it’s just painful when it touches something. All I do is gargle Listerine, but even this anti-bacterial can’t do a thing about it. All it can do is numb the gum for a minute or two. It simply sucks!

Speaking of late night sleep, this causes me to lose and/or not gain weight. An office mate told me that I was losing weight in the last week. I know I don’t eat much, but I eat and, according to my observation, my eating habit is the least cause why I’m as thin as a match stick. Staying late at night takes a lot out of me. I doesn’t matter for how long I sleep. That’s why I’m hoping to get away from this bad habit.

On another note, I’ve been recently hooked on love songs. Bruce Springsteen’s “Secret Garden” is especially beautiful. I think I need to see “Jerry McGuire” (surprised?) There’s also a very good song from Edwin McCain called “I’ll Be”. It’s really a wedding song — “I’m the greatest fan of your life.” Wow! Isn’t that nice?

Andrea, Single?

I was getting tired of my AVRIL LAVIGNE wallpaper, so I looked for Andrea’s wallpapers. It’s really a unfortunate if you already had the best ones because it’s going to be very challenging to find something better than what you had. You might ask me why don’t I make myself one that suits my needs. Well, the first thing is to find a unique photo of her, which is a challenge by itself, and make sure it is of good quality. Secondly, aside from my artistic incapability, there’s not much time to play around with my Photoshop 7. Anyway, that’s not the point I was aiming at when I mentioned the keywords Andrea and wallpaper. While searching in google I found an article from ShowBiz Ireland about Andrea’s silent beak-up with boyfriend Giles Baxendale. Considering Showbiz Ireland a tabloid, I still believe there’s truth to the report. This must be a huge celebration for those Andrea-crazed-lifeless-ordinaries.

When my relatives hear about this, I’d really be having a laugh telling them “I told you so.” Why would I say that? Well, to make them think that I’m losing my mind, I tell them stuff like “Andrea is waiting for me to finish college & get married. The Giles affair is not serious.” Or “Andrea & I are secretly married.” It’s really fun saying things like that in front of my close relatives. It makes them think I’m really crazy, but it’s my way of telling them that I’m not that stupid and knows what I’m doing. Hmmm, I wonder why I love the movie “Nottinghill.”

Back To Basics

In recent days, I’ve started listening to my The Corrs tunes. I’m kind of getting back in the groove. It’s been months since I attentively listened to any of their music. I was repelled by Avril Lavigne’s charms. Don’t get me wrong; I still surf for news about them. Not the little things like I used, nevertheless, I still know their details. Caroline Corr, drums, is five months pregnant and that little sucker to be born is gonna be a lucky one. The first child in the ring of perfection.

While I’m in the subject of music and The Corrs, I will include my thoughts on last week’s VH! Greatest Love Songs show. I believe that if they widely gathered information, disregarding popularity, The Corrs’ “Runaway” has a very good chance of getting into the list. If Faith Hill’s “Breathe” can, so can “Runaway”! The TOP 20 was a little fishy if I was asked…

Rules Of Attraction

A friend asked me what attracts me in a girl. It wasn’t easy to explain. I simply gave a loop of vague adjectives that even I cannot comprehend what I was talking about. I do have standards, but there are always been exemptions. One of the biggest exemption has to be Andrea Corr. Why the biggest? Because I cannot get over her (totally, that is). Do I want to get over her and stick to my standards? Hell no! She’s the best thing since slice of bread. You might think I’m crazy and obssessed. Yes, I’m obssessed, but that’s in a level of imagination. I don’t expect to marry her, we’re married in my head! That’s all I want. Something to make me laugh at times. I’m sane enough to realize my chances. I’m not the only fan!

Addicted To…Animes?

Recently, my addiction of Japanese animes aroused rapidly in a very short time. I’ve spent quite a bit on the Dragonball series and Yuyu Hakusho. Because of this, my laziness grew malignantly. I hardly write programs anymore. I even forget how to program PHP nowadays.

Last night, a package of Dragonball series arrived. The quality are impressive, especially the bunch in divx format. Writing this now at school, my mind is on the videos. I can’t wait to get over my last class and hopefully my Subway ride isn’t as dull as it always has been. So, for now, it’s sayonara (spelling?) — the word I’ve learned from watching subbed Japanese animes ;)
